The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Audu Bosso, has commented on efforts to rescue prospective NYSC members abducted along the Owerri-Onitsha Road. He said security operatives have located the suspected kidnappers' hideout but could not move in because mines were planted around the area. The abduction and rescue efforts are ongoing.
