A police officer, Blessing Omene, was crushed to death by a moving truck in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, while on duty along the East-West Road. She was attached to the Safer Highway Patrol team. The Commissioner of Police, Ajao Saka Adewale, confirmed the incident and said the driver has been arrested. He urged officers to remain alert and follow safety procedures.
