The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) plans to train local divers in flood-prone communities on improved rescue techniques. Kenoma Ojuederie, Head of NEMA's Benin Operations Office, announced this during a refresher training for emergency stakeholders on urban search and rescue. The training aims to enhance coordination and response during flood disasters, strengthen inter-agency readiness, and upgrade operational capabilities.
