NGO Offers Succour to 500 Traders Affected by Market Demolition In Anambra

The Hamilton and Thelma Ezeonu Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, has provided assistance to over 500 traders whose shops were demolished in Anambra State. The demolition affected close to 200 buildings and shops in Afor Nnobi market, Idemili South local government area, during an ongoing road construction by the state government. The founder, Mr. Hamilton Ezeonu, met with the victims to commiserate and offer support to help them restart their lives and businesses. The assistance is intended to enable the traders to rent new shops and recover their livelihoods.
