Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has assured residents of Bagudo Local Government Area that a military base will be established following recent bandit attacks. He gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the District Head of Kaoje over the death of the Village Head of Lafagu and other victims. Idris described the attacks as barbaric and promised to flush out bandits in collaboration with security agencies.
