Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the company is working to prevent its robotaxis from hitting pets, particularly cats, at night. He noted the difficulty of spotting grey kittens on grey tarmac in the dark. Tesla recently extended robotaxi operating hours in Austin from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.
