Gov Idris to Establish Military Base in Bagudo to Address Banditry in Kebbi

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has assured residents of Bagudo Local Government Area that his administration plans to establish a military base in the area to curb persistent insecurity. The governor gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the District Head of Kaoje, Alhaji Mustapha Usman, over the death of the Village Head of Lafagu and other victims of recent bandit attacks. Idris described the attacks as barbaric and deeply disturbing, and assured the people of the government's collaboration with security agencies to flush out bandits. He said his administration would not relent in its efforts to protect lives and property and restore peace so displaced residents can return safely.
