Two civil society groups have urged Nigerians not to condemn the Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Audi, over the deaths of illegal miners in Niger State. The groups cautioned against directing blame at the NSCDC boss in connection with the incident.
