The North East Governors Forum (NEGF) has raised concerns over the seeming neglect of the Mambilla Hydro power plant and called on the Federal Government to expedite its completion and take-off. The forum made the call in an 11-point communique issued after its 13th regular meeting in Maiduguri, Borno State. The NEGF also acknowledged the intervention role of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) but urged it to invest more in the education sector. The meeting was chaired by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State and attended by other governors and representatives from the subregion.
