The Imo State Police Command has located the suspected hideout of 19 abducted prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members. However, rescue efforts have been delayed due to intelligence indicating that the camp may be rigged with improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Commissioner of Police Audu Bosso disclosed that security operatives tracked the abductors and deployed drones to pinpoint the location, but cannot move in immediately due to the IED threat.
