Illegal miners operating under security cover — Gov Kefas

Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has alleged that security personnel are involved in facilitating illegal mining operations in the state. He said the illegal mining is responsible for security challenges in some parts of Taraba. The governor also claimed that some individuals within official structures are part of an illegal mining network, adding that the issue is not peculiar to Taraba.
