Senator Ali Ndume has commended President Bola Tinubu for fulfilling his promise to increase the salaries of Armed Forces personnel. The salary increase, which took effect from September 2026, applies to officers and men of the three services. Ndume, a former Senate Leader and former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, urged the President to continue efforts to boost the morale of military personnel. He also called on the military to intensify their efforts in combating insurgency, kidnapping, and banditry.
