Six civil society organizations have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide verifiable evidence of its readiness for the 2027 general elections. The CSOs specifically demanded proof that INEC's election technology, result management systems, and operational preparations are prepared, and that the result-upload failure has been fixed. The demand was made in an open memorandum ahead of INEC's World Press Conference. INEC has not yet responded to the memorandum.
