The Association of Jumuat Mosques Imams of Nigeria (AJMIN) has called for sustained prayers for divine intervention in Nigeria's worsening security challenges. The call was made at a one-day leadership seminar in Kano titled 'Leadership in Islam for National Peace and Divine Intervention'. AJMIN National Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Adam said the country needs prayers due to violence and other challenges. He explained that the association selects a state each year to deliberate on national issues and pray for peace.
