Residents of Uzere in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State are apprehensive following reported gas emissions from underground. The emissions were noticed at several locations, particularly around London Base in Uweye Quarter. The intensity has increased and appeared to be spreading, with bubbling observed in water around farmlands and roadsides. It is not yet established whether the emissions are caused by a leak from an underground gas pipeline.
