The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) is seeking international support to revive vaccine manufacturing in Nigeria. The director-general stated that Nigeria has the potential to achieve Vaccine Lot Releases Maturity Level Four, and that the estimated costs would not be excessive if successful. The move is part of efforts to boost local vaccine production.
