The Oyo State Government has declared Monday, October 5, 2026, a work-free day for teachers across the state to commemorate the 2026 Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Day. The declaration was contained in a circular issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Musibau Babatunde. All public school teachers in the state are directed to observe the work-free day.
