The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organization (MDPCO) under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to immediately rescue prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members abducted in Imo State. The campaign council also demanded decisive steps to secure the unconditional release and safe return of other Nigerians abducted in Niger, Kwara, Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Borno and other parts of the country. In a statement, Richard Ihediwa, Director of Strategic Communications of the campaign, said it was unpardonable that four days after the abduction of the corps members, the President had remained silent. The APM said Nigerians could not afford a leadership that is not alive to its primary responsibilities.
