The Federal Government has urged young Nigerians to move beyond discussions and develop practical solutions to address the challenges they face. The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, made this call at the opening ceremony of the National Youth Confab 2026 held at the National Counter Terrorist Centre Auditorium in Abuja. Olawande described youths as one of the country's greatest assets, citing their contributions to entrepreneurship, technology, the creative economy, civic engagement, innovation, and community development. He explained that the confab was a platform for young people to exchange ideas, examine opportunities and challenges, and contribute to shaping policies that affect their lives.
