The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Lagos State will host the 2026 CAF Awards. The decision was revealed alongside other decisions by CAF's Executive Committee in a virtual meeting chaired by President Patrice Motsepe. The awards ceremony is scheduled for December 7 at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly the National Art Theatre. Nigeria last hosted the CAF Awards in 2017. Additionally, CAF has approved November 21 for its Ordinary General Assembly, which will be held in Abuja.
