A tanker inferno in Cross River State has resulted in one death and one injury, and burned shops and vehicles. The incident adds to a series of fire emergencies in the state, with the fire service reporting 17 incidents between January and September. Those incidents caused an estimated N2.5 billion in property losses and six injuries. The latest fire is under investigation.
