The Ellison family's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery is set to conclude on Tuesday, with Paramount Skydance completing a $110 billion purchase. This follows the Ellisons gaining control of Paramount just a year ago. Once the deal is finalized, Larry Ellison and his son David, who is leading the combined company, will hold significant influence in film, television, and streaming. The new entity, to be called Skydance, will start with $79 billion in debt against annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of $12 billion. David Ellison has stated he will seek cost-cutting synergies to make the venture profitable.
