Portugal national team coach Jorge Jesus has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is welcome to return to the squad if he chooses. The dispute arose after Jesus left the 41-year-old on the bench for Portugal's first win over Norway, leading Ronaldo to walk out on the squad on Wednesday upon learning he would not start against Denmark. Jesus said that Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr, could be called up for the next matches if he is playing and wants to return. He also mentioned that if Ronaldo wishes to speak with him before Portugal's next matches in November, that would happen.
