More than 600 residents of Onihale in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State received free medical screenings and food supplies during a two-day community outreach. The event was organised by Africa Needs U (ANU), a US-based faith-driven charity, in partnership with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Living Praise Assembly on Kajola Road. Health workers identified risk factors linked to hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease among some participants. Dr Bankole Abiola, who led the medical team, warned that such conditions often go undetected until they become serious, stressing the importance of routine checks and early intervention.
