The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has intensified efforts to eliminate bottlenecks in non-oil exports to boost foreign exchange inflows. Managing Director Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho announced this at the 21st Abuja International Trade Fair, stating that the NPA is enhancing port infrastructure and extending maritime logistics to the hinterland. He emphasized that trade resilience requires efficient infrastructure, predictable fiscal frameworks, and seamless supply chains. Dantsoho noted that Nigeria's economic resilience cannot rely solely on imports and oil revenues, stressing the importance of expanding non-oil exports and integrating businesses into global value chains.
