Ghana's Vincent Torgah won the Lakowe Lakes Golf Classic in a sudden-death playoff on Sunday, claiming the Sunshine Development Tour title and a brand-new electric car from CIG Motors. Nigeria's Kamalu Bako forced the playoff with a six-under-par 66, including eight birdies and two bogeys, erasing Torgah's advantage in the $50,000 event at the par-72 Lakowe Lakes Championship course. Rain delayed the final round before the 33 finalists returned to action. Despite falling short, Bako expressed satisfaction with his performance, though he wished he had executed the sudden-death play better.
