MFM emerged champions of the 2026 NBBF/Zenith Bank Women's Basketball League, receiving N7.5 million in prize money, while the second and third-place teams won N5 million and N3 million respectively. At the final, Zenith Bank's Group Managing Director/CEO Dr. Adaora Umeoji, represented by Executive Director Adamu Lawani, described all teams as winners and reiterated the bank's commitment to developing women's basketball in Nigeria after 20 years of support. Lawani said the teams inspire young girls and congratulated MFM for earning the title with discipline and hard work, and also congratulated the runner-up, First Bank.
