The National Association of Nigerian Students has expressed appreciation to the National Insurance Commission for its longstanding support for tertiary education through the Insurance Education Fund and related interventions. NANS also said it supports the transformative reforms put in place by NAICOM, which it said are reshaping Nigeria's insurance industry. The commendation was made in a statement by its leadership to the commission. NANS commended the Commissioner for Insurance, Mr Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, for the successful conclusion of the insurance recapitalisation exercise and celebrated President Bola Tinubu's assent to the Nigerian Insurance Industry Reform Act.
