The Kano State Government has revived 11 of its 26 entrepreneurship institutes after years of inactivity. Currently, 6,400 youths and women are enrolled in training programmes across the state. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is determined to make the revival of these centres a cornerstone of his development agenda. The institutes are being repositioned as hubs of opportunity where beneficiaries can acquire skills, establish enterprises, and contribute to the state's economy.
