Nigeria Labour Congress President Joe Ajaero said President Bola Tinubu's promised 'age of prosperity' has not yet improved living conditions for Nigerian workers. Speaking on the 'Mic On' Podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, Ajaero said rising costs of petrol, food, transportation and accommodation have eroded the purchasing power of workers, arguing that a lower inflation rate does not reflect reality. He also argued that Tinubu, Atiku and Obi are wrong on the subsidy issue, while the SDP and Accord parties' ideas are better. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar demanded details of N11.2 trillion in NNPC security claims, and Atiku and Amaechi said they would bring back fuel subsidy, while lawyer Femi Falana urged the federal government to reduce the price of petrol without further delay.
