At least 28 people have been killed in renewed attacks across three local government areas of Plateau State despite a dusk-to-dawn curfew imposed on September 21. The affected areas include Mangu, Bokkos, and Barkin Ladi, which have witnessed repeated attacks in recent weeks, disrupting farming and cattle grazing. The latest incident occurred on Sunday evening when two people were killed and six others injured in an attack on Fulani herders in a pickup vehicle around Total filling station in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area. The attack came less than two weeks after gunmen killed five herders in Kassa community of Barkin Ladi.
