Nigeria's formal financial inclusion rate reached 73% in 2026, surpassing the 70% target set under the National Financial Inclusion Strategy. However, only 30.7% of formally included adults are considered financially healthy. This leaves approximately 60.4 million adults financially vulnerable or merely coping.
