The Bauchi State Ministry of Justice, in collaboration with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) and supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has urged tertiary students to report all instances of gender-based violence (GBV) on campuses. The call was made by the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Sabiu Adamu Gumba, during a sensitization campaign at ATBU. The event focused on educating the university community about the Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) Law and other legal frameworks. Gumba emphasized the ministry's commitment to eradicating GBV while upholding constitutional principles.
