A mother of three has shared her experience of moving her family of five from larger, two-story houses into a three-bedroom duplex in Labrador on the Gold Coast, Australia. The family had previously lived with her parents and, before that, in a double-story house in Bright, Victoria. Although she initially dreaded downsizing, she discovered unexpected benefits to living in a smaller space. She now believes that bigger isn't necessarily better when it comes to running a busy family home.
