Fidson Healthcare Plc has been selected as one of eleven sublicensees to develop and manufacture generic versions of Roche's baloxavir marboxil. The selection was made through the Medicines Patent Pool's voluntary licence, which aims to expand access to influenza treatment and strengthen pandemic preparedness. Fidson joins manufacturers from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Ukraine, and Vietnam in this initiative.
