African Action Congress presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has said Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, prayed for him and expressed confidence in his triumph. Sowore disclosed this in posts on his X handle on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after attending the National Thanksgiving Service in Lagos. He was introduced to the congregation at the RCCG headquarters in Ebute-Metta and received a warm reception. Sowore later held a private meeting with Adeboye.
