Qatar Airways unveiled its new Qsuite Next Gen business class at the Farnborough Airshow in 2024, but the cabin has yet to carry passengers. The airline planned to install the product on its Boeing 777-9 jets, a variant of the 777X that remains uncertified and is seven years behind its original schedule. A recent tour of the seat revealed several upgrades, including a two-person window suite and a personal safe. Boeing continues to face safety, quality, production, and supply-chain challenges that have delayed the aircraft's entry into service.
