A commercial bus carrying 21 passengers crashed and caught fire along the Oko-Olowo Expressway in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Sunday evening. The bus, with registration number DTH840SA, reportedly suffered a punctured tyre, causing the driver to lose control; the vehicle somersaulted and ignited. The Kwara State Fire Service confirmed that one person died and several others were injured. Emergency responders evacuated passengers and took the injured to hospital for treatment.
