The Anambra State Government has urged voters, especially supporters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to reject Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi in the 2027 general election. In a post on its official X account managed by Governor Charles Soludo's New Media office, the government accused Obi of betraying APGA since leaving office. It claimed that President Bola Tinubu supported APGA while Obi backed the opposition in 2015. The government described Obi as a betrayal to the party and called on supporters to defend APGA ahead of the 2027 election.
