The Imo State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Lucky Adim for allegedly brutalising his 10-year-old daughter, Confidence Adim, in Owerri. The arrest was made on Friday following a petition by the Stand for Humanity Foundation, a human rights organisation. The child was reportedly brought to the attention of the authorities after sustaining multiple injuries from an electric cable used by the suspect. The case is under investigation.
