A fresh crisis has erupted in the Saint Thomas Aquinas College Old Students Association (ACAOSA), Akure, as three Regional Vice Presidents have sued the association and its National President, Otunba Sola Adewumi, over the running of its affairs. The plaintiffs—Patrick Meshe (Europe), Nnamdi Okoye (America), and Olusoga Taiwo (Nigeria)—are challenging their alleged unlawful and unconstitutional suspension from office. The suit also challenges the convening of an extraordinary meeting on October 3, 2026, allegedly without recourse to the Board of Trustees. The school, established in 1951 by Catholic missionaries, is one of the foremost secondary schools in Ondo State.
