The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Borno State government are engaged in a war of words over alleged political intimidation and security threats. The ADC accuses the administration of Governor Babagana Zulum of plotting to deploy security agencies and state regulatory bodies against its leadership. The allegations come ahead of the 2027 elections. The Borno government has not yet responded to the accusations.
