The Rivers State Government has sealed 21 illegal health facilities across four local government areas following an enforcement operation. The crackdown uncovered suspected baby trafficking and racketeering, leading to the arrest of three persons for prosecution. The operation was conducted by the Rivers State Ministry of Health in the third quarter of 2026, in collaboration with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
