The Oyo State Government has denied reports that it built or took over the management of the 80-bed Mother and Child Specialist Hospital in Pakiotan, Ogbomoso North Local Government Area. Commissioner for Information Prince Dotun Oyelade stated that the hospital is a Federal Government project, dismissing claims that the state abandoned it. The clarification was made to correct misinformation about the ownership and status of the facility.
