Nigerian civil society organizations (CSOs) that could not secure accreditation for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) sessions still participated in numerous side events. These side sessions provided opportunities for African NGOs to learn, influence, and make their presence felt. The events were open to NGOs without formal accreditation.
