The Super Eagles will be without seven players for Tuesday's international friendly against Russia due to injuries, club restrictions, and a residence permit issue. Captain Wilfred Ndidi is among those ruled out. The withdrawals have reduced coach Éric Chelle's squad to 18 players for the match at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Nigeria and Russia previously drew 1-1 in Moscow in June 2025.
