The Plateau State Government has condemned the attack on traders returning from the Bukuru Kara Livestock Market in Jos South Local Government Area. In a statement signed on Monday by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the government described the incident as sad and unacceptable. Security agencies have been directed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack, including the identities and motives of those responsible. The government extended condolences to the victims and their families and said the directive aims to further protect lives and property within the Jos-Bukuru metropolis.
