The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that Nigeria's National Register of Voters now exceeds 103 million. INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, disclosed the figure on Monday, attributing the increase to the completion of the three-phase Continuous Voter Registration exercise and a final biometric cleanup. He made the announcement during a keynote address at a One-Day Strategic Workshop for Editors.
