The Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, has called on Northerners to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's bid for a second term in 2027. He described such support as a "payback" for the role Tinubu and the Southwest played in the emergence of former President Muhammadu Buhari. Dangyatin made the statement in a recent address.
