The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has confirmed that the aircraft that crashed on Monday had 25 passengers and seven crew members on board. The aircraft disappeared from radar at about 9:13 a.m. on Monday, and efforts to establish radio contact with the crew were unsuccessful. The minister provided the update as search and rescue operations continue.
